Hotmail bounce message 550 OU-001
Mail rejected by Outlook for policy reasons. If you are not an email/network admin please contact your Email/Internet Service Provider for help. For more information about this block and to request removal please go to: http://www.spamhaus.org.
Stop all this jibber jabber, what does it mean?
Hotmail blocked your email because either the SMTP server you are using or your IP address
is listed on a blacklist
Did I do something wrong?
Probably not, unless you know you have been sending spam.
How can I fix this?
- Check if your IP address is blacklisted: http://www.spamhaus.org/query/ip/188.8.131.52 (we already included your current IP address in the previous link). If it is listed, ask for removal on this website.
- If your IP address is not listed here, check if your SMTP server is blacklisted. You can find your SMTP server address in your email software settings. Copy this address and go to: http://www.spamhaus.org/lookup/. If it is listed, contact your SMTP server administrator and let him / her remove the listing.
